About Me

I am fortunate to have retired to Fife in Scotland, a beautiful area of the country, where I can be near my grand children. I worked mainly in education and retired in 2010. I originally studied History, Economics and Politics at university and, later, Psychology and even later, Art History. Since I have retired I have been able to spend more time painting and drawing. I have attended lessons by local artist, Susan Forsyth (www.susanforsyth-art.webs.com), a summer school at Art4youScotland (www.art4youscotland.co.uk) and, recently, a summer school with Paul Mowat organised by the Edinburgh Drawing School. I am a member of the Crail Art Group, the East Neuk Art Club and the Saint Andrews Art Club and have shown paintings in their exhibitions and actually sold a few!
